On 2nd October, Estibaliz Arenzana, a B+I Strategy consultant, participated in a meeting with Prof. Klaus Schwab, founder and Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum, best known for its annual meeting at the end of January in Davos.
Estibaliz is an active member of the Global Shapers Community, which was founded by the World Economic Forum. At over 7,000 members, and with hubs in 376 cities in 156 countries, it is a network of young people from a diversity of professional backgrounds and sectors of society, but all sharing a spirit of entrepreneurship, dialogue, action, and change in the interest of overall public good.
During the encounter with Prof. Schwab, a number of topics were discussed such as current politics, environmental problems, the circular economy, Industry 4.0 and the future of employment, entrepreneurship, to name a few. The young people in attendance also took this opportunity to ask both the Davos Forum and politicians that they be taken into consideration when deciding on matters of widespread importance.
