On 27th June, Oscar Valdivielso, B+I Strategy Associate, participated in a Bizilab seminar organised by FEVAS, the Basque Federation of Associations Supporting the Intellectually Impaired.
Under the title of “The Life of Our Laboratory”, the seminar informed attendees of the progress and the results of a variety of innovation projects which have been developed by FEVAS entities following the LivingLab methodology and within the framework of the Bizilab Project. One of the projects had as its goal efficient communication, while another dealt with home life and every day activities, and yet another was focused on co-ordinating socio-sanitary care in mental health services for developmentally and intellectually impaired individuals.
Bizilab got its start in 2011 with the goal of promoting RD&i in the area of the Developmentally and Intellectually Impaired and to position FEVAS as a leading player in this field. Over the last two years, the initiative has managed to involve over 200 players and individuals, both locally and internationally, in generating new ideas and solutions aimed at the needs of developmentally and intellectually impaired individuals.
