On 19th June, Estibaliz Arenzana, B+I Strategy consultant and Head of Global Shapers Bilbao, participated in a round-table discussion in the first-ever edition of an annual day-long seminar held in Bilbao in order to promote the Euskadi-Basque Country Brand.
Held at Mitxelena Auditorium of the Bizkaia Aretoa (UPV/EHU), "Euskadi Basque Country Eguna" is a seminar promoted by the Secretariat of the Basque Government External Action Service and aimed at all institutions, players (social, economic, academic, and cultural) as well as people who develop the international agenda and contribute to the development of the nation-branding of 'Euskadi-Basque Country', or those who intend to initiate a process of internationalisation. The goal of the seminar was two-fold: to promote the brand 'Euskadi', concentrating the various efforts towards that goal, and to share relevant experiences of Basque people and entities currently abroad.
Furthermore, also participating in the event were the following Basque Ministers: Josu Erkoreka, Arantxa Tapia, Iñaki Arriola, Nekane Murga, Sonia Pérez, Bingen Zupiria, Cristina Uriarte, and Mª Jesús San José, as well as Marian Elorza, head of the Secretariat of the Basque Government External Action Service, sponsor of the seminar. Finally, other participants in the event were: Bakartxo Tejería (Speaker of the House of the Basque Parliament); Imanol Pradales, the Head of Economic and Territorial Development of the Provincial Government of Bizkaia; the Honourable Juan Mª Aburto, Mayor of Bilbao, and the Honourable Gorka Urtaran, Mayor of Vitoria-Gasteiz.
