Manuel Vizán is an Industrial Engineer specialised in Industrial Organisation, with a degree from the University of the Public Basque University School of Engineering, in Bilbao, in addition to holding the CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) qualification from APICS (the Association for Operations Management). He has also received training in Developing and Managing a Successful Technology and Product Strategy from MIT Sloan.
With 15 years’ experience in consulting, Manuel’s career began with Arthur Andersen, where he reached the post of Senior Consultant, and afterwards, in July 2006, he moved to BearingPoint where he was appointed Manager. In 2007, he became Consulting Manager at PriceWaterhouseCoopers in Bilbao and subsequently joined B+I Strategy in January 2008.
Over his career, Manuel has worked with numerous companies and public institutions in the following areas: Strategic Thinking processes; defining business models; market analysis; identifying diversification opportunities; Economic Impact Surveys; trends surveys; cost analysis; designing and optimising processes and procedures; designing organisation and management models; processes to promote creativity and innovation; designing and setting up management reporting and information systems; setting up financial information systems; and production planning.
