Manuel Vizán

Manu Vizán is an Industrial Engineer specialised in Industrial Organisation, with a degree from the University of the Public Basque University School of Engineering, in Bilbao. Additionally, he holds the CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) qualification from APICS (the Association for Operations Management), and he has also received training in Developing and Managing Successful Technologies, digitization, and Big Data from MIT Sloan and University of Cambridge.
Manu’s career in consulting spans over 22 years. His first nine years were with such multinational consulting firms as Arthur Andersen, BearingPoint and PriceWaterhouseCoopers where he managed the areas of technology and processes improvement. Manu has been with B+I Strategy since 2008.
Over his career, he has worked with numerous companies and public institutions in projects of a diverse nature: Strategic Thinking processes; defining business models and feasibility plans; trends surveys and market surveys; identification of diversification and new business opportunities; defining strategies in Shared Value; Economic Impact Surveys; cost analysis; design and optimization of processes and procedures; designing organisation models; processes to promote creativity and innovation; designing and implementation of management reporting and information systems; and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP).
