Beatriz Tejedor

 

Beatriz Tejedor holds a first degree in Economics and Business Administration from the Deusto Business School – University of Deusto. She has also received specialised training in Strategy from MIT, as well as being an active member of the Harvard MOOC International Alumni Association. 

Beatriz has 20 years’ experience in the field of consulting. After nine years with KPMG Consulting, she moved to BearingPoint (formerly Arthur Andersen) as Manager of the Strategy team in July 2003. Two years later, Beatriz joined B+I Strategy as a Partner. 

Throughout her career, Beatriz has provided support to numerous companies in their Strategic Thinking processes and organisational design. Amongst those firms are: Elecnor Group; CAF; Liberty Group; Indar Electric (Ingeteam Group); GUASCOR Group (currently Dresser-Rand); Fagor Arrasate; Deusto Business School; Abengoa; DaimlerChrysler España; Seguros Bilbao (Insurance); Praxis Pharmaceutical; Arteche; Mizar Additive; Sammic; Leartiker; CIC Energigune; Guggenheim Museum Bilbao; Euroforum Escorial; Fábrica Nacional de Moneda y Timbre (the Royal Spanish Mint), etc.

Furthermore, Beatriz has contributed to various projects on regional competitiveness and on the definition of public policies for: the Basque Government; Biobasque (Basque Bioregion); the Provincial Government of Gipuzkoa; the Spanish Ministry of Health; the Regional Government of La Rioja, to name a few. In addition, she has headed up projects aimed at designing and implementing knowledge management models for the following and other organisations: Cervezas Polar, REPSOL, Unión Fenosa, etc.

Over her career, Beatriz has participated in launching new products and innovative methodologies in the field of management consulting, having co-authored two research projects on organisational learning and intellectual capital, as well as having published a variety of articles in the fields of Strategy and Knowledge Management.

Beatriz is both a guest lecturer and has taken part in the coaching programme at Deusto Business School – University of Deusto. Finally, although most of her career has fundamentally been spent in Spain, Beatriz has also worked on projects in such countries as Venezuela, India, China, and USA.
