Santi de Juan holds a combined first degree in Business Management and Administration, and in Engineering, specialising in Industrial Technologies, from Deusto Business School - University of Deusto (Bilbao). Aside from being fully bi-lingual (Spanish/Basque), having earned the Basque Government diploma (HABE 3), he also has been awarded the Cambridge Advanced Certificate in English, and speaks basic German.
In his senior year, Santi was selected to join a group of students to participate in the Bizkaia Talent Programme sponsored by the Provincial Government of Bizkaia to foster the development of highly qualified young professionals in the province. During that same year, he also interned with Ferrovial as part of the University´s Full-time Internship Programme. Furthermore, Santi has postgraduate training in “Digital Transformation: Market and Industry Analysis” taught by KTH Royal Institute of Technology.
Since joining the team of consultants at B+I Strategy in September 2015, Santi has participated on a number of projects to both define and implement strategic plans, analysis of business plans, undertaking market analyses, sectorial benchmarking and diagnostics, as well as economic impact surveys. Santi has worked for companies both domestically and internationally across a variety of industries, gaining notable experience in manufacturing, science, technology and innovation. Some of his main private sector clients are: Praxis Pharmaceutical; IMQ Seguros (Private Healthcare Provider); Barna; IK4 Research Alliance; Petroplast; Aurman; Ikerlan; Danobat Group; Goizper Group; Sidenor F&C; BBK Savings Bank, and Citrofrut.
In the public sector, Santi has worked on the analysis and design of programmes and public policy affecting industry and innovation, internationalisation, and entrepreneurship, amongst others. Some of his main public sector clients are: The Basque Government; EVE – Basque Energy Agency; HAZI Rural, Coastal and Food Development; Euskampus; The Provincial Government of Gipuzkoa; Bidegi (The Infrastructure Agency of Gipuzkoa), The City of Bilbao; and Azkuna Zentroa.
