Óscar Valdivielso holds a first degree in Economics and Business Administration from the University of Deusto Business School. The final year of his programme was completed at the University of Stockholm as part of the Erasmus Programme.

Óscar has over nine years’ experience in the field of consulting. He worked for Arthur Andersen (and later BearingPoint) as Senior Consultant in the strategy team until he joined the team at B+I Strategy in January 2006.

Óscar has worked for numerous clients in the public and private sectors and at national and international levels. He has worked on large numbers of strategy and organizational consultancy projects, e.g. strategic thinking processes, plans of action, market studies, competitivity reports, clustering reports, and defining organizational and management models. Óscar’s main clients include: Vidrala, Condesa, ENCE Group, Bodegas Chivite, Atlética (Mexico), the Basque Government, the Provincial Government of Bizkaia, the Provincial Government of Gipuzkoa, Confebask (Confederation of Basque Employers), the Social Council of the University of the Basque Country, and Lantegi Batuak (Bizkaia-wide charity assisting the disabled and intellectually impaired with employment issues). 

Óscar has delivered presentations in various local and international forums, and has worked on publications and articles dealing with strategy, strategic planning, entrepreneurship, etc. Óscar has played a role in “The Innovation Kite”, B+I Strategy’s research project into strategic innovation in companies. Finally, he occasionally lectures at the University of Deusto Business School.
